Epstein Emails and the Possible Fall of the Wasserman Hollywood Empire
Casey Wasserman, heir to the Wasserman dynasty and grandson of Lew Wasserman, appears in multiple Epstein email files connected to Ghislaine Maxwell. These emails, originally buried inside broader Epstein document releases, are now drawing new scrutiny as questions emerge about Wasserman’s past proximity to Epstein’s network.
People searching “Casey Wasserman Epstein emails,” “who is Casey Wasserman,” and “Wasserman agency Epstein” are trying to understand what these emails actually show. Most coverage referenced only a single quote. This investigation examines the original files themselves, their full context, and what they reveal.
Watch the full investigation below:
The heir to a Hollywood dynasty appears in Epstein email files
In the email archive, Casey Wasserman appears in approximately seven files. Some are duplicates, but several contain direct exchanges between Wasserman and Ghislaine Maxwell dating back to March and April of 2003.
In one of the most widely quoted emails, Wasserman tells Maxwell:
“I think of you all the time… so what do I have to do to see you in that tight leather outfit?”
The tone of the exchange suggests a personal relationship between the two adults. The correspondence itself does not establish criminal wrongdoing by Wasserman. However, it confirms proximity and familiarity with Maxwell, who was later convicted for her role in Epstein’s trafficking operation.
The significance of the word “massage”
One of the most scrutinized references appears in an April 1, 2003 email, when Wasserman asked Maxwell to arrange a massage.
On its surface, the request appears ordinary. However, Epstein court documents later established that Epstein and his staff frequently used the term “massage” in connection with encounters that victims alleged involved underage girls.
Lesley Groff, Epstein’s longtime executive assistant from roughly 2001 to 2019, coordinated many of Epstein’s daily activities, including scheduling travel, meetings, and, according to victim allegations, massages.
In her lawsuit filed in New York (Index No. 950010/2019), Epstein victim Jennifer Araoz alleged that Groff helped arrange abusive encounters and facilitated travel connected to Epstein’s network.
The presence of the term “massage” in correspondence involving Maxwell has therefore drawn additional scrutiny, even though the email itself does not prove wrongdoing by Wasserman.
Connections and introductions inside Epstein’s social network
The emails also reference comedian Bobby Slayton, whom Maxwell stated Wasserman had introduced to her.
Separate Epstein email files show Slayton later communicating with Lesley Groff. These records illustrate how Epstein’s network expanded through introductions between social and professional circles.
The emails do not establish that Wasserman participated in Epstein’s criminal activities. They do establish that he had personal communication with Maxwell and existed within overlapping social networks.
The legacy of Lew Wasserman and the empire he built
Casey Wasserman’s grandfather, Lew Wasserman, was one of the most influential figures in Hollywood history.
Lew Wasserman helped reshape modern Hollywood by pioneering talent profit participation deals, shifting power away from studios and toward agencies and artists. His influence transformed the industry’s economic structure.
Today, Casey Wasserman controls the Wasserman agency, a global sports and entertainment firm representing major athletes, brands, and media interests. He also serves as chairman of the LA28 Olympic organizing committee.
The resurfacing of Epstein email correspondence has placed that legacy under renewed public scrutiny.
No criminal accusations, but rising reputational consequences
The emails themselves do not accuse Casey Wasserman of criminal activity.
However, reputational risk alone can have consequences in Hollywood, where agencies depend on client trust and public perception.
Search interest in Casey Wasserman, the Wasserman agency, and Epstein email connections has surged as the public examines these documents more closely.
Whether these emails ultimately affect Wasserman’s long-term control of his company remains uncertain.
What is clear is that the correspondence exists, and the public is now seeing it.
