Who is Link in Paradise Season 2?
Link is Dylan, Sinatra’s son who was believed to have died years ago.
Episode 7 confirms this during Link’s confrontation with Sinatra, when his real name is revealed and his age matches exactly what Sinatra’s husband previously said Dylan would be. The show does not explain how Dylan is alive, but his return is directly connected to Sinatra’s secret project involving Alex.

What Is Alex in Paradise Season 2 Episode 7?
Alex is still not confirmed to be human. Based on what we see in Episode 7, Alex is most likely either a system or something that needs to be preserved in extremely cold conditions.
The hallway leading to Alex is lined with what appear to be liquid nitrogen canisters, which are typically used to preserve biological samples or cool advanced systems. On top of that, Sinatra puts on a thick insulated jacket before entering, not a standard lab coat. That suggests the room is cold, not just sterile.
At the same time, Sinatra refers to Alex as “her” and says “Hi Alex,” which keeps the possibility open that Alex could be human. Right now, it remains unconfirmed.
Why Sinatra Says “It Worked”
When Sinatra returns home, she tells her husband, “It worked.”
This is not about her meeting with Link. That meeting ends in a standoff, so nothing about it “worked.”
Instead, she is referring to her project involving Alex. She follows that by saying, “I think Dylan is okay,” which connects Alex directly to Dylan being alive.
Where Alex Is Located
Sinatra reaches Alex by taking a hidden underground train.
This suggests Alex is not located in the central bunker, but in a separate, isolated area. It also explains why, during the meltdown at the end of the episode, there are no alarms or warnings where Alex is.
Earlier, Sinatra’s assistant confirms that they “took care of the power problem,” which implies Alex is running on an independent power source.
How Is Dylan Alive? (What We Actually Know)
The show does not explain how Dylan is alive.
While it’s easy to assume Alex is responsible, the only confirmed ability tied to Alex comes from Henry, and that is probability prediction, not resurrection.
So for now, the connection between Dylan’s return and Alex is implied, but not fully explained.
The Nosebleed Connection Explained
Four characters are now connected:
- Sinatra
- Dylan
- Xavier
- Billy
All four experience nosebleeds.
The only confirmed link between them is that they have all either died or come close to dying.
- Sinatra was shot
- Xavier was shot
- Dylan was believed dead
- Billy is still dead
This is the clearest pattern the show has established so far.
Why the Bunker Is Melting Down
Multiple events happen at the same time:
- A breach from outside
- An oxygen leak inside the bunker
- A full system lockdown
These conflicting commands cause a system failure, triggering warnings of a nuclear meltdown.
At the same time:
- The bunker doors are only partially locked
- Presley and Sinatra’s daughter are trapped
- Xavier is heading back into the bunker
Earlier, this exact situation was dismissed as unlikely. Now it’s happening all at once.
What Episode 7 Actually Confirms
Episode 7 doesn’t fully explain everything, but it does confirm key pieces:
- Link is Dylan
- Alex is central to Sinatra’s project
- Dylan’s return is connected to that project
- Characters tied to death share the same symptoms
- The bunker fails when multiple systems collide
The finale now has to answer one main question:
What exactly is Alex?
